Our New Home - June/July 07

June 1st 2007 was a big day for us!
After months of anticipation, moving day arrived. We were finally leaving our tiny apartment above the church building in Antwerp into our new house in Vlierzele (Sint Lievens Houtem). The church apartment had served us well (and was kind of cozy in its oun right) but we were ready to have a real home of our own. We signed the contract for our house back in the fall of 06, but agreed with the sellers to wait until summer to move in. I thought the day would never arrive!

Thanks to all of you who helped with moving the boxes!






Organizing the kitchen was kinda like Christmas because I got to unpack wedding gifts which had been in boxes for the two years we lived in Antwerp.

And we were so glad that mom got to make the trip over and help us settle in!! Thanks Mom! (and Dad for sending her!)
