Switzerland or bust

The past few months have been non-stop craziness for me at school! Last week, we had our last week of classes, a two presentations, and a massive project to turn in. Needless to say, I was definitely looking forward to my two weeks of vacation!

Since Dennis and I both finally had some free time off together, we decided to pack our bags and head to Switzerland. For a while now we have wanted to go visit Bill and DeeDee Bundy, who we knew from Antwerp, at there new place in Bern, and it finally worked out! It was so much fun to see them again!

The Bundy's in Neuchatel

Bill and DeeDee were our tour guides on saturday and showed us around Neuchatel, which is a beautiful city by a lake and has an old castle on the hill. Then we went on to Murten, another old city surrounded by the original stone wall. We could even wall around along the wall, and I got some great pictures of the view! (See the panoramic in my flickr stream at the right-->)

Murten

On sunday, we had the most incredible weather! We visited the church in Bern, and they all practiced their English with us. They were really friendly! Afterwards, we walked around town, visited the "Bern Bears," and walked up to see the city from the Rosengarten on the hill.

We spent monday and tuesday in the mountains, and you can see some of the incredible sights we saw in my pictures to the right... =)
